Planting & Care Instructions:
Soak roots in cool water for 30–60 minutes before planting to rehydrate.
Choose a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Prepare well-draining soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Mix in compost or aged manure.
Plant crowns at soil level (where the root meets the stem). Avoid burying or leaving crowns exposed.
Space plants 12–18 inches apart, with 3–4 feet between rows.
Water regularly, especially in the first few weeks and during dry periods.
Remove blossoms in the first year to encourage strong root development.
Expect full fruiting and a high-yield harvest in the second season, with consistent performance in future years.
