  • Spacing: 6–8" between plants (denser than standard asparagus); 3 ft between rows.
  • Furrow Depth: 8–10" deep (8" recommended in heavy clay soils).
  • Watering: Maintain consistent moisture during establishment; lighter soils may require more frequent watering.
  • Fertilization:
    • Pre-plant: 5 lbs of 10-10-10 per 100 sq ft.
    • Year 1: Apply 1 lb of 10-10-10 per 100 sq ft in August.
    • Subsequent years: 2 lbs of 10-10-10 per 100 sq ft in early spring and after harvest.
  • Longevity: Can produce abundant crops for decades with proper care.
