Planting & Care Instructions

  1. Soak bare roots in water for 30–60 minutes before planting.
  2. Choose a sunny location with 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  3. Prepare well-draining, loamy soil (pH 5.5–6.5) enriched with compost or organic matter.
  4. Plant crowns at soil level — do not bury or leave exposed. Spread roots evenly in the planting hole.
  5. Space plants 12–18 inches apart with 3–4 feet between rows for airflow and strong growth.
  6. Water consistently to keep soil moist, especially during root establishment and flowering.
  7. Remove flowers the first year to strengthen root systems.
  8. Enjoy a full harvest of giant, sweet strawberries in the second growing season.
