Planting & Care Instructions

  1. Soak bare roots in water for 30–60 minutes before planting.
  2. Choose a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  3. Prepare loamy, well-draining soil (pH 5.5–6.5) enriched with compost for fertility.
  4. Plant crowns at soil level, spreading roots evenly while keeping crowns uncovered.
  5. Space plants 12–18 inches apart with 3–4 feet between rows for airflow and access.
  6. Water regularly to keep soil moist but not soggy, especially during fruiting.
  7. Remove flowers in the first year to build stronger roots and foliage.
  8. Enjoy abundant harvests of sweet, gourmet strawberries starting in the second growing season.
