Planting & Care Instructions

  1. Choose a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of sunlight daily.
  2. Prepare well-draining, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5–6.5) enriched with compost or organic matter.
  3. Soak bare roots for 1–2 hours before planting.
  4. Plant crowns at soil level — not too deep — spacing plants 12–18 inches apart and rows 24–30 inches apart.
  5. Water regularly to keep soil moist but not soggy, especially during fruiting.
  6. Remove flowers during the first few weeks to promote strong root development.
  7. Mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds.
  8. Expect large, sweet berries beginning mid to late summer and enjoy extended harvests each year.
