The Northland Blueberry Plant is one of the most dependable and cold-hardy Northern Highbush varieties available. Fruiting in the early to mid-season, Northland produces an abundance of flavorful, sweet berries that are excellent for jams, baking, and fresh eating.

Our 2-year-old bare root Northland plants are mature and well-rooted, making them easy to establish with strong growth and early fruiting potential. Compact and adaptable, Northland performs beautifully in a wide range of soil types and climates, making it a top choice for northern gardeners and backyard growers alike.

In addition to its fruiting power, Northland’s bright yellow wood and compact 3–5 ft form add visual appeal, making it an attractive option for ornamental landscaping or edible borders. Its fiery red-orange fall foliage provides seasonal color as well. Bare root plants are approximately 18–24 inches tall upon arrival.

Cold-hardy and resilient, Northland thrives in acidic, well-draining soil with full sun. It requires 800–1000 chill hours to set fruit and will yield even larger harvests when planted alongside other Northern Highbush varieties for cross-pollination.
