The Sierra Blueberry Plant is a compact and high-yielding Northern Highbush variety that produces large, aromatic, and flavorful berries early in the season. Known for its superb fruit quality and adaptability, Sierra is a favorite for both container growing and landscape planting.

Our 2-year-old bare root Sierra plants are mature and well-rooted, ensuring quick establishment and early fruiting. With a naturally open, spreading growth habit, Sierra reaches 3–5 feet in height, making it an ideal choice for smaller spaces or decorative berry hedges. Bare root plants are approximately 18–24 inches tall upon arrival.

In spring, the plant is adorned with clusters of white blossoms that attract pollinators, followed by early-season crops of delicious berries. In fall, Sierra transforms with fiery shades of red and orange foliage, adding vibrant seasonal beauty to your garden.

Cold-hardy and widely adaptable, Sierra thrives in acidic, well-draining soil and full sunlight. For best results and larger harvests, plant alongside other Northern Highbush varieties for effective cross-pollination.

At Hand Picked Nursery, we take pride in growing premium-quality, non-GMO plants that deliver beauty and performance season after season.
