Volunteer Opportunities

Hand Picked Nursery is looking for volunteers to help build the agricultural dream we have for the local community. Our address is 233 Ennis Rd, Benson, NC 27504. Below is a brief description of the following opportunities you can volunteer to be apart of!

Nature Trail Fun: On our 23-acre property, we have nature trails that are home to various different animals, plants, and water systems. In addition to scenic views, our trails feature various produce plants that our visitors can pick from and exercise equipment. Click here to learn more about this volunteer opportunity!

Animal Kingdom: Here at Hand Picked Nursery we have chickens, ducks, rabbits, and soon, many more furry and feathery friends. Click here to learn more about this volunteer opportunity!

Nursery Journey: We have seven greenhouses and LOTS of plants! One of our greenhouses is especially unique as it is our hydroponic tower produce picking greenhouse. This greenhouse allows visitors to pick their own produce through this unique farming method. Our other greenhouses are for retail and growing some of the various plants we sell.
